Christmas Lights Switch-on and Tin Hat Fair

The evening will start at 4pm with live entertainment in the Market Place followed by the lights switch on at 6.30pm. There will be a range of market stalls and the Tin Hat Fair will take place on Regent Street. There will be a fireworks display from Argents Mead at 6.45pm. The fair will continue on Saturday 20 November from 4pm to 8.30pm. Free admission.

Event stewards will be on hand to ensure current government COVID-19 guidelines are adhered to. Please take any litter away with you or dispose of in an appropriate bin. Hand sanitising stations will be available during the event. The nearest toilets and handwashing facilities are located on Station Road, the Leisure Centre toilets are currently not open to the general public. We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms of Coronavirus, to please not attend the event.
