Christmas Market Delivery Van Burglary and Car Theft (Leicestershire Police)

I will have a crime prevention stall at the Burbage Christmas market on Windsor Street this Friday (26th November). Road closures in place from 15:00 – 22:30, Stalls open from around 16:30 until late. Pop down and see our crime prevention items (sold at cost). I believe there are also rides for the kids, food stalls, lights around the Horsepool and St Catherines and much more in the area. Hope you can make it.
A garden fence was found burnt and bench smashed at the back of Forryan Road overnight on the 17th November. If you saw anything suspicious in the area on that night, please get in touch. 21000672062
Residential Burglary reported on Burbage Road (not far from Elm Tree Drive). Property not occupied at the time of the incident and access was gained via the conservatory doors. An Audi A6 is believed to have been stolen. Please get in touch if you saw/heard anything suspicious, or have any CCTV of use between 0800 on 18th and 08:00 on the 19th November. 21000674977
Delivery van stolen from Woodland Avenue at around 11:20 on the 21st November. The vehicle was recovered a short time later. Unknown if anything has been taken from the vehicle. Please remember if you are delivering goods or keep valuable items in your vehicle, always lock up and take the keys with you. If you have any information regarding this incident, please get in touch.
Some money has been found by a resident on Sapcote Road. If you have lost any money in the area recently, please drop me an Email to Darren.stretton@leicestershire.pnn.police.uk with the quantity, date, description or any other information you have to prove it is yours.
