Deer antlers for sale at Bradgate Park’s new pop-up shop
A pop-up shop has been set up so you can grab yourself deer antlers at Bradgate Park from this weekend.
The shop offers a wide range of gift ideas from pencils and recyclable cups all the way to deer antlers.
The store will be open from 11am to 4pm from Sunday and will be based in the entrance of the Visitor Centre.
It will adhere to coronavirus rules, such as mask-wearing and social distancing, and the rest of the centre will be closed due the current restrictions.
From photographs posted to social media, it is revealed the shop has a collection of reusable coffee cups, umbrellas, small wooden carved antler artwork, coasters, notepads, and more.
There is also a wide selection of deer antlers from the many deer inside Bradgate Park and there will be venison for sale.
Bradgate Park is the only remaining Medieval deer park in Leicestershire, which keeps wild deer within an enclosed space with no artificial fertiliser for the pasture or veterinary drugs or handling.
A spokesperson for Bradgate Park said: “This Sunday we will be having a pop up shop in the entrance of our Visitor Centre from 11am – 4pm.
“Why not come along and purchase something from Bradgate Park? There are gift ideas, small items like pencils etc, bee bombs, bags, recyclable cups. fridge magnets, coasters etc.
