This is much needed and very welcome news at this time; it’s great to see an innovative company like Britishvolt choosing to move to this area, bringing with its highly skilled jobs and investment for this crucial British industry. Following the recent government announcement to ban all petrol and diesel vehicle production by 2030, Britishvolt’s innovation in powering electric vehicles will be an increasingly important industry and source of economic growth for this area in the future and will contribute to the delivery of the council’s climate change strategy.
