NHS Sew Lucky Scrubs Appeal

Can you spare any linen to help NHS carers?

We're collecting cotton and poly-cotton duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases to make into scrubs, hats and wash-bags for staff at Leicester Hospitals.

We also need buttons (2p sized) for headbands to make wearing masks more comfortable, as well as elastic for headbands and hats.

Make your donation in 2 easy steps...

1
Bag it up

2
Drop it off

Can you sew? Your NHS needs you!

Please download the patterns and instructions below to start making scrubs, hats, headbands and/or washbags. We can supply materials if needed.

Please note: Scrubs must be made in neutral colours (not patterned) by request of the NHS. This may change however, as demand increases.

Hats, headbands and washbags are all great in patterned fabrics.

Scrubs Tunic

Scrubs Trousers

Elastic Back Hat

Tie Back Hat

Headband

Important!

Please remember to bag your items once finished.

Paper takeaway bags are perfect. Seal with masking tape ideally, or any tape if masking tape is unavailable.

Write on the bag: CONTENTS, DATE & TIME the item was placed in the bag so we can ensure it is quarantined for 72 hours.
