South Leicester Police – Assault Appeal
Dear South Leicester Resident,
You are receiving the following email appeal as a South Leicester resident.
Officers are appealing for information after a report of an assault in Leicester. At around 7.50pm on Tuesday 22 June, it was reported that two males were arguing on Aylestone Road at the junction with Park Hill Drive.
The younger of the two then assaulted the other with a machete causing an injury to his arm.
He attended Leicester Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The male who carried out the assault is described as white, 5’2, around 15-years-old, with a skinny build and dark, curly hair. He was reportedly wearing a black sports top and carrying a JD Sports bag.
PC Richard Wagg said: “This incident took place when many people are likely to have been out and about. We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or may have captured those involved on dash cam.”
