Good morning Earl Shilton and Barwell…What a busy past few days it has been!Friday 18th March your beat team officers as well as response officers were called out to a job where a car had gone into Barwell Scout Hut causing a lot of damage. Suspect was found and arrested.Also on Friday morning your local beat team and a member of the Market Bosworth beat team executed a successful warrant in Barwell. A quantity of cannabis as well as a large knife were seized. One burglary has occurred since our last message on 20/03/22 on Westfield Avenue, Earl Shilton where a car was broken into and a phone and house keys were taken from the glove box. We would like to remind people to remain vigilant at this time and should anyone see anything please say something. You may have seen on Hinckley Police Facebook post we are asking for members of the publics help to locate the whereabouts of a convicted burglar who has absconded from HMP Sudbury, Derbyshire.Steven Anthony White left the open prison today (Wednesday 16 February). The 37-year-old was convicted at Leamington Spa Crown Court in 2020. He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall and of medium build. White has brown hair and brown eyes and tattoos on his right arm and chest.
