Three pedestrians taken to hospital after collision with car
Three people have been taken to hospital after being knocked down in a collision near Bradgate Park.
Officers were called to Bradgate Road in Newtown Linford at 4.39pm today (September 8) following a report of a collision between a car and three pedestrians.
The three pedestrians are reported to have been together in the same area at the time of the incident.

Leicestershire Police closed the road near Bradgate Park between the junction of Groby Lane and Bracken Hill for several hours while the incident was dealt with.
Motorists were warned to find a different route.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police confirmed in a statement that “three people have been taken to hospital”.
The nature of their injuries is not currently known.
Bradgate Road was reopened at around 7pm but officers remain at the scene as enquiries continue.
