Weekly summary (Leicestershire Police)
Hello Earl Shilton and Barwell,There have been several incidents of vehicle crime over the last week so please keep a look out. Please report suspicious activity immediately to 101 or 999. Please also consider steering locks and the usual crime prevention. Theft of vehicle – Blue Ford C-Max SY63 CXC was stolen from Almeys Lane, Earl Shilton sometime between 21:35 – 22:35 on 03/03/2022.During patrols a vehicle was stop checked on A47 where the driver was found with possession of a substance believed to be class A drugs. The driver was arrested for possession of class A and later on further arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit of a specified drug and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.Burglary on Leicester Road, Barwell – At 09:00hrs on the 2nd March the owner of the property discovered that the rear windows had been smashed and red spray paint was covering parts of the windows and walls. Premier League Kicks – Although it’s not on in Earl Shilton or Barwell (yet), Premier League Kicks is back in the local area based at Green Towers, Hinckley every Monday night 16:00-17:30. If you have a son or daughter between the ages of 12-15 who love football and want to get involved bring them down!Issues surrounding ASB have dropped over the last few months but we’re continuing to patrol and act on incidents that are brought to our attention.
